A public address and voice alarm system, is installed in a venue or a building and allows a single user or more, to address to a public larger number of people, with the use of a microphone or prerecorded messages through installed loudspeakers. It also assists in the effective evacuation of an area or building during a fire, or other emergency.

The system can also be used for background music distribution if required. Using the same loudspeakers, it may support zoning so separate zones or combinations of them can be addressed. The background music volume adjustment or program selection is also possible per separate zone.

A public address and voice alarm system has to work when needed –i.e. during an emergency – and, therefore, all its components are fully monitored at all times (microphones, processors, amplifiers, loudspeakers, cablings, etc.) so that the user knows that it is operating correctly. If not, the user will be notified in time in order to repair it. The system is also backed up by batteries so even during a mains failure, it will continue to operate.

Certified Public Address & Voice Alarm System
